Check your Logbooks If you have worked any LEFARS callsign since 1st January 2000, you may qualify for one or more of our all new Epping Forest awards. Design and production of the award certificates will be completed by the end of the year, and the first will ship from January 2007. The Epping Forest award scheme is open to all radio amateurs and SWL's, including members of LEFARS.

To qualify for the Epping Forest "Beech Award", applicants need to accumulate at least 20 points by working a combination of any of the callsigns listed on the left. If your callsign is in our logs, you can claim points. 5 points are awarded for working a LEFARS Special Event "GB" callsign. Points may only be claimed once for each activation of any given callsign, regardless of the number of different band or mode QSO’s that you may have completed within the activation period of that callsign. 3 points are awarded by working a LEFARS Club callsign. Points may only be claimed once in any given 24 hour period, regardless of the number of different band or mode QSO’s that you may have completed within that time frame. The Epping Forest "Silver Birch Award" may be claimed for 50 points, and the premier "English Oak Award" for 100 points.		Cost... The cost for each award including postage within the UK is: £3.50 Overseas postal rates are available on request. Payment Methods... Send a log extract listing the Callsign(SWL's must include both callsigns), Date, & Time of each QSO that you are claiming points for, to the below address: LEFARS Awards Manager 26 Oak Tree Close Loughton Essex IG10 2RE Include within your claim, your Name and / or Callsign, as you would like it to appear on your certificate, and your postal and e-mail address, or telephone number.
