Museums on the Air Weekend on 19th and 20th June

By | 7 June 2021

LEFARS will be active for museums on the air weekend from the Kelvedon Hatch Secret Nuclear Bunker.

The event will run between 19th & 20th June and camping for members will be available, but prior notice is required. If you would like to attend the weekend, please make your wishes known to our club secretary Dave M0VID via: secretary@lefars.org.uk

Not only will we have a great field available, but we will also have access to water & toilets 24×7 and access to the VHF/UHF antenna on the mast with a range of up to 200 Miles! There will also be the ability to pull up HF aerials and the ‘Burger Van’ will be in attendance for comfortable operating.

We thank the SNB group for the invitation and look forward to another fun weekend of /P operating.

Due to covid restrictions, and in line with government guidelines the event and operating is limited to LEFARS and SNBCG members. The site is public, and outdoors so you are welcome to visit and say hello
